On the night of July 04, 1970, the badly burned bodies of Ronald and Rachel Morris were discovered in the charred remains of their home in Denton, NC. Autopsy reports showed that Ronald Morris had been shot twice in the head, and Rachel Morris had been shot once with a small-caliber weapon.
