Community Resources & Information 

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to offer a variety of resources and information to the community to further our mission to enhance public safety and promote community-based relationships between law enforcement and the general public.

Public/Incident Records Request

Please visit this website to obtain a copy of any sheriff's report, incident or public records request at www.co.davidson.nc.us. You can click HOW DO I then select make a Public Records Request follow the prompts and allow up to five business days for request to be emailed.

Fingerprinting

  • You must be a resident of Davidson County or work in Davidson County (show proof that you work in the county)
  • You must have a valid ID that shows you live in Davidson County ​
  • If you are needing live scan fingerprint you must obtain a copy of the electronic release form supplied by your employer
  • You do not need an appointment

      Hours for fingerprinting are Monday thru Friday 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
