On January 25, 2013, around 0900 hours, Deputies were dispatched to a Breaking/Entering in progress call at the Atlantic Car Company located at 1896 Old US Highway 52, Lexington, NC. While enroute, Sheriff Grice reported a subject inside the premises, bound and possibly deceased. Employees noted that the owner, Nancy Harvey, had not reported to work this morning, which is unusual. Concerned, they went to her residence located at 1176 Hickory Tree Road, Winston Salem, NC but they were unable to locate her. On the way back, the employees located Nancy's vehicle at Tom's 4-Wheel Drive shop located at 3549 Old US Highway 52, Lexington, NC 27295. It was later confirmed that the victim at Atlantic Car Company was Nancy Grubert Harvey, and she was bound by zip ties on her hands and feet, a bag zip tied around her head and neck, with bleach poured all about her body.
